The code of nationality offers two ways to obtain the Belgian nationality, namely: attribution and acquisition.
The acquisition of Belgian nationality supposes a voluntary step of the very person; the initiative belongs to the applicant.The procedure to be followed depends on the personal situation of the applicant. After a first consultation at the town hall, a list of formalities to be completed will be handed over.
