What is a Social Renting Agency?
A social renting agency is the perfect link between the owner of an immovable good who want to benefit from his property without spending too much time on it, and those who want to rent at moderated prices. More specific, the SRA will agree on a renting price with the landlord (owner). The tenant will pay rent according to his possibilities. The rest of the rent will be paid by the SRA (subsides).
The advantages for the owner are multiple: he does not have to search for tenants, he has a guarantee that the rent will be paid (on time), the SRA takes care of all maintenances, the insurances are kept up to date and he benefits from elevated premiums for renovations and lower taxes.
The municipality of Woluwe-St-Pierre has attributed the management of its housing projects to the Social Renting Agency LE RELAIS.
