Advantage for the use of a carsharing system
Within the limits of the available budgets, the Commune grants a benefit for the use of carsharing platforms that have concluded an agreement with the Commune of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. This applies to the fixed registration and/or subscription fees for all registrations made from 1 June 2022 for the following services:
– Cambio: the benefits include
the platform registration fee (€35 incl. VAT)
The monthly ‘Start’ subscription for a full year (€3/month inc. VAT x 12)
Travel credit (29 euros inc. VAT)
– Poppy: benefits include a monthly ‘Cherry’ subscription for 1 year (€4.99/month incl. VAT x 12), which entitles you to various discounts on the services provided by Poppy.
In order to benefit from the advantage, the following conditions must be met by the applicant:
- be an individual ;
- be of legal age and reside in the municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre;
- use one of the above-mentioned platforms solely for their own use;
- benefit from only one advantage once;
- commit to using the platform as part of their daily commute, instead of their personal vehicle personal vehicle, by means of a declaration on honour;
Here’s how it works:
Before registering on the chosen platform, fill in the Application form – car sharing and send it to espacespublics@woluwe1150.be.
The date of receipt of the complete application determines the order in which the benefit is awarded.
Once the application has been completed and validated by the College, you will be sent a notification allowing you to benefit from a discount when you register on the chosen platform. You can then register by providing the operator with the document attesting to the municipal agreement (do not register until you have received it). The amount of the benefit will then be deducted directly from the costs associated with the chosen platform.
You must register for your chosen service within one month of receiving notification that your application has been approved by the College.
Please choose only one of the above services, make sure that you meet the conditions and ensure that you do not already have an account with the chosen service provider. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered!
Cargo bike purchase allowance
Within the limits of available budgets, the local authority will grant a subsidy for the purchase of a cargo bike. For the purchase of a cargo bike, the amount of the subsidy corresponds to 15% of the purchase invoice, up to a maximum of EUR 500.00.
By cargo bike, these rules mean a two- or three-wheeled bicycle, which may be extended, specifically designed to carry objects, animals or people in addition to the driver.
It may be an electric or muscle-powered bicycle.
To qualify for the subsidy, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- be an individual ;
- be of legal age and reside in the municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre;
- purchase a new or second-hand cargo bike from a cycle shop for their own use and provide a copy of the detailed purchase invoice made out in the applicant’s name;
- receive a maximum of two subsidies per household within 3 years;
- undertake not to resell the cargo bike for a period of 3 years and to use the cargo bike as much as possible as part of their daily commute by means of a declaration on their honour;
